We *strongly* believe it’s time to celebrate in the most festive way possible – with a discount on our Flock event management software and mobile apps! For 15 days between 2 and 20 December 2019, we are selling all Flock Event software for 15% less. This includes events booked in advance for the whole of 2020!
This is really incredible. Our mobile app and event management software has been included in a recently published video and article by Ezvid Wiki from Los Angeles covering "Global Apps to make planning and running your event easier."
One of the most exciting aspects of the corporate event space is the rate at which technological advancements affect the industry. Mike Lysko, our CEO, explores the ways in which quantum computing might alter the way we orchestrate and attend events.
Being able to attend an entire event virtually felt very futuristic until a few months ago when tech improved dramatically and new health situations encouraged us to change our view on traditional events. So, we have great news (and a solid solution for event planners that still need their events), with some attendees hesitant to travel or unable to be (physically) in one place all together.
Virtual Events can either be thought of as a challenge or an opportunity, and to be honest, it has a bit of both - just like physical events do. One of the biggest opportunities (we think) in Virtual Events is the chance to really create a spectacular show for the theatre in your attendee’s minds.
35% of event attendees are now Millennials. This percentage is slowly increasing, so it’s more important than ever to ensure that your events cater to their needs. Your aim should be to create better experiences, ensure maximum enjoyment, and generate sharing momentum from each event.
What did we do and how did we communicate urgent alerts before this feature?
Event planners are starting to use event data and analytics more and more to host events that are people-centered and audience-relevant.
Using data that you’ve gathered from guests via event apps, email correspondence and from online behaviour is an incredible way to learn more about the types of people that would be interested in your events and your brand. Such data also provides you with the insights to continue giving current event customers what they want and find useful.
The event industry has seen incredible improvements to both on-site and virtual event technology, and the tech industry definitely isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. The virtual space has an enormous amount of potential and we anticipate more development in the future, which will further impact on-site event experiences as well.
Working with cutting edge technology when planning your hybrid event will allow you to curate the best experience for your on-site guests while seamlessly integrating your live and virtual platforms.
We’ve been doing Online Events through event websites, RSVP management and mobile apps since we started out in 2013, but now we’ve had the chance to really take a deep dive into providing Virtual Event solutions for our event planners, and we are looking forward to pushing the boundaries with our innovative team even further.
How cool is this! Our CEO Mike Lysko had the amazing opportunity to speak about The Ultimate Tools for Event Planners and Event Tech trends at the SAACI - Tshwanefication event which was held in Pretoria.
Event Planners got the chance to try out our famous Live poll and Q&A feature during his presentation. SAACI – Tshwanefication was a great event that catered to event planners around the world with current trends in event planning.
A few short decades ago, the concept of engagement was rarely associated with corporate events. Fast-forward to 2020, and attendee engagement has become a term bandied about with much fervour – for good reason.
We always love the trend predictions and seeing as the 2019 trends for the events industry have been generally on the right track, we were really interested to see what the 2020 trends will bring! Here are 6 trends that are bound to get your event-planning heart beating faster:
