BDO’s roots go as far back as 1910 when the USA founding firm, Seidman and Seidman was founded. At this stage there were only 2 000 certified public accountants practicing in the USA. From 2010 the brand continued to develop, all with the objective of becoming the true powerhouse of the mid-tier. To achieve their growth ambitions and a turnover to match, they took an acquisition approach.
BDO was looking to host a virtual event for their organisation on a platform that would allow attendees from all around the world to give feedback about the 2021 National Budget Speech. They needed a solution that could not only help them manage their event, but easily allow them to reach a larger audience and track attendee engagement.
Understanding this scenario, the Flock Team strategized around how to provide a valuable Virtual Solution to Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Flock Platform provided a virtual platform that allowed doctors, professors, and medical reps to sit at different tables and network before and after the live virtual launch –Exactly like a physical event.
The Flock Team stepped in and provided BDO with an event landing page that allowed guests to register, watch the event live, communicate, ask questions and network with one another through the chat box, post event surveys and take part in live polls.
All the feedback from guests with engagement was tracked and sent to client after the event. A virtual event allowed BDO to reach 80% of their goal with a total 800 attendees online.
