This past weekend featured an incredible highlight for us with THAT. FUN. FIT. FEST being held completely online through our mobile app and streamed to more than 2800 people around the world tuning in to be a part of the fitness magic.
THAT. FUN. FIT. FEST is a fitness event that brings together friends and families of all ages every month to have the most epic fitness fun around – the vibe created is incredible, and it was amazing to be a part of translating that into a completely online event, especially in this time when fitness and fun are so needed.
ALT Capital Partners, a private equity market firm established to assist local and international investors tap into the Africa Rising phenomenon, embraced the highly-innovative and locally developed Flock Eventing Platform at its launch in Johannesburg this month (July 2018), and we were honoured to be a part of it by providing the RSVP Management and Mobile App for attendees.
Standing out was the download rate and interactivity experienced on the app component of the platform: a remarkable 76% of guests downloaded the app, and there was an exceptionally high level of interactivity amongst the audience posing questions directly to the speakers through the app during the event, and the speaker sessions being accessed more than 540 times in the 4 hour event.

Our latest improvement has stemmed from wanting to create an easier way for guests to network, as well as us wanting to provide more data to event managers to improve the event experience for their guests. The years of not being able to get vital information about your guests are over, and we have enhanced the features on our app to make it easier than ever to get it.
Over the last few months, we have spent time crafting and re-designing the back end of our platform to make it even better and improve the experience for our clients. From the Multiple Events Dashboard to the Email Design functionality, through to the Mobile App Design Module, and the Exportable Reports – it has all had a facelift.
What did we do and how did we communicate urgent alerts before this feature?
We’re firmly entrenched in the age of mobile. We work, play, and do everything in between on the device in the palm of our hands. Thanks to the fact that there’s an app for everything under the sun, our mobile phones have become an integral part of our lives. In fact, eMarketer reportsthat mobile apps account for a whopping 90% of time spent on our phones.

Because films and TV shows are an integral part of any learner’s life, they introduce short films into the curriculum to create an entertaining and enjoyable way to process and retain information. They run the youth development programmes nationwide.
